Exploring Freedom in Work + Life

Introduction:

This blog is home to both of my worlds: KnowB4UGO, where I guide aspiring expats and sabbatical seekers in designing financially free lives abroad, and AI Alchemy Studio, where I explore how artificial intelligence helps us collapse time and create with ease. Different subjects, one theme: freedom.

Curious how AI and global living overlap for me ? Start with my story.

Confessions of a Curious (and Slightly Reckless) Traveler

At first, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure what to make of this whole “AI” thing. Like many of you, I stood at the edge of it, arms folded, eyebrows raised. As one would be at the advent of anything new and powerful, I was a little apprehensive. After all, the headlines at the time were loud and grim: “AI Doom Is Upon Us!” “The Robots Are Coming for Your Job!” Depending on the day, we were either headed for utopia or extinction.

Was any of it true? Maybe. Maybe not. Who really knows? However, I have observed some dangers to AI, like the use of other's images and IP without permission, I strive to use ai in as ethical a fashion as possible and put as many guardrails in place to protect my IP(still on the learning curve of this).

But here’s the thing: I’m a creative. An entrepreneur. And if you’re wired like me, you know it’s very difficult to resist the urge to play with a shiny new toy, especially one that promises to collapse time itself. The ability to bend hours of work into mere minutes? Yes, please. Call me guilty.

So, there I was: intensely curious, just the right amount of reckless, and secretly thrilled. Like sneaking into the lab after hours to push all the forbidden buttons, I dove in. At first, I only used AI for myself, quietly, in the privacy of my own business. A little content experiment here, a shiny graphic there, a chatbot that actually looked like me. It almost felt clandestine, like discovering a magic spell that actually worked.

And then, as if drawn by some invisible business genie, things started to shift. I began using AI for others. Friends. Colleagues. Clients. The pull was irresistible. One day I looked up and realized: this wasn’t just a side experiment anymore. This was a studio. A practice. A space.

And so, AI Alchemy Studio was born.

Now let me pause here, because some of you might be wondering: Have I made a judgment on whether AI is good or bad? The answer is: No. Not yet. I don’t have a neat little TED Talk conclusion for you, tied up with string. I’m still in the thick of it, standing in and around it, playing, experimenting, side-eyeing it when it does weird things or the advancements occur so fast, it leaves my head spinning. My stance is less “guru on the mountaintop” and more “curious traveler with snacks in my backpack.”

Because at heart, I am a traveler. That’s how I see this whole AI journey, an uncharted world to explore. A little risky, a little thrilling, definitely weird, and absolutely fascinating. It feels kind of like Wesley Crusher meeting Q in Star Trek: the awkward, eager kid encountering the mischievous cosmic trickster. Except in my version, I get to wear better outfits and demand a glass of champagne while we warp through the galaxy lol.

And speaking of Star Trek, it hit me one day: Were there any female ‘travelers ? ‘, I tried to recall, I vaguely remember one, maybe. So here I am, taking up that role. Lol, yes I’m a big fan. I’m not a prophet of doom, not a cheerleader for the machines, but a curious woman exploring the terrain, ears and eyes open, heart just reckless enough to see what happens next.

That’s really what AI Alchemy Studio is about. It’s a place where I take the raw material of technology and blend it with human imagination, wit, and just enough eccentricity to make something new. It’s about testing the edge between the mechanical and the magical. It’s where the google sheets meet the stardust, and the copywriting collides with the cosmos.

Will AI save the world? No idea. Will it ruin it? Maybe, who knows. But in the meantime, I plan to use it to free time, bend creativity, and sprinkle a little gold dust on businesses that want to stand out. That, my friends, feels like a worthy experiment.

Because really—how could I resist? When you’re a creative and an entrepreneur, it’s almost impossible not to.

So, welcome. Welcome to the playful laboratory, the experimental atelier, the cosmic coffeehouse I like to call AI Alchemy Studio. Here, we’ll mix AI tools with human smarts, add a dash of humor (sometimes sexy, always sharp), and see what emerges. Some of it may be cool, some of it will be strange, and some of it may just make you laugh.

But that’s the fun of it, isn’t it?

This isn’t about worshiping at the altar of algorithms or running from the shadow of doom. It’s about curiosity. About play. About creating something new in a world that’s changing faster than we can blink.

So pull up a chair, pour yourself something nice (wine, coffee, kombucha, tea), and join me. The journey is just beginning, and I promise: it could be fascinating, unpredictable, and maybe even a little bit cheeky.

Welcome to AI Alchemy Studio. Let’s have fun.

Curiosity Is Our Compass.
